What is the role of a Household Companion Branch Leader?

  • Provide relevant education and information to support mums with their sexual and relationship health in your community.
  • Encourage pelvic floor exercises with up to date resources.
  • Create safe, regular meeting place for mums to confidentially discuss relationship and sexual concerns.
  • Network with local health visitors, midwives, gp’s, physiotherapists and antenatal teachers.
  • Host informative talks and workshops, from relevant speakers relating to sexual health, for both parents and health professionals.
  • Become an invaluable resource within your community.
  • Create a link from your community to the National Household Companion resources.
