Continuing on from her long career as a gentle birth practitioner and doula, Rachel Foux now offers ecstatic birth coaching tailored to the individual needs of the birthing couple. This private full day course is an ideal choice for pregnant women and their birthing partners as a unique alternative to standard birth preparation classes.

Rachel believes that birth preparation must embrace the intimate relationship between the birthing couple as they journey together from pregnancy to birth. Birthing skills and pain relief techniques do not prepare the couple enough for this transition. She has witnessed how the silent connection between a couple can either support or hinder the way a woman gives birth and passionately prepares both partners for an ecstatic birth experience.

What does an Ecstatic Birth Coaching day include?

  • Birth Education
    The birthing journey – the birthing choices – a relationship decision.
  • Touch for Birth
    Sensual, pleasurable and appropriate touching for labour. Developing non-verbal communication in the birthing room.
  • Breath for Birth
    Incorporating ancient birthing and tantric breathing with sound, to open her heart and pelvis for an ecstatic birth.
  • Positions and space management
    Using our multiple body senses, we can help to awaken her power to birth.
  • Visualization for ecstatic birth
    Creating a transcript for your own ecstatic birth and the practice of deep muscle relaxation and meditation.
  • Yoni massage and genital stretch
    Understanding how ancient genital massage techniques can help to prepare her pelvic floor and perineum for childbirth.
  • Your relationship journey
    Intimate tantric rituals designed to honour the transition of becoming parents, as well as lovers.

This full day of Ecstatic Birth Coaching with Rachel Foux, costs £500 and includes an in depth, pre meeting questionnaire, which helps us to create a unique day based on your personal history.
